Starry Night is a collection of short poems and prose that takes you into the poignant and bittersweet phases of loving someone. Heartbreak is a universal phenomenon, and Starry Night is a product of and for it.
Written in plain, simple language, Juana Garcia captivates readers with utterly emotional and sentimental pieces written in free verse. It is divided into three chapters: Twilight, Midnight, & Dawn.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Juana Garcia is the pen name of a poet in her twenties. She likes to describe herself as a dreamer with a pen and prefers to write anonymously. She started writing poetry in her teens and fell madly in love with the works of Pablo Neruda, Rabindranath Tagore, and Lang Leav. After quitting her job of three years in real estate, she dedicated several months to completing what would become her debut poetry collection, Starry Night, which was self-published in September 2020.
She is a graduate of Saint Louis University in Baguio City with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She currently works in Manila as a full-time content writer.
