Our mission is to build free little libraries all over the Philippines to promote literacy and a love of reading. So for every book that you will buy in our shop, you are taking part in building a fund to make this mission possible. Thank you for supporting us.
Porch Reader Philippines is an online bookstore in the Philippines created for avid readers all over the country. Our goal is to provide our customers access to pre-loved and new books at affordable prices. We are always on the lookout for great titles, so you’ll have more options to choose from. It is where you can find some of the best titles by favorite authors sold at a decent price.
One of the things that we love to do is talk about books, pets, bookshelves, and other things about being a book geek. Sometimes, we are serious, but most of the time, we are silly. We all have piles of tbr books, and they keep on growing. Most of our writers are pros, and some are not, but we love them as much as we love each of our books. We believe books can change the world and most definitely can change a person’s life.
Meet Our Team
Lhory, Book Hunter Mom
She spends most of her time running around with her two adorable boys and a lone wolf of a husband, exploring the world and discovering new books. Her favorite genres are contemporary fiction, mystery, and historical fiction. Her spare time is spent in bookstores and libraries, inhaling and hoarding books and drinking coffee. In case of emergency, you can message her by talking about fictional detectives, Harry Potter, and The Tudors.
Elaine, Resident Poet
She is an introvert who finds reading a much better pastime than going out of the house. She’s in love with the minds of Neil Gaiman and Stephen King and will pore over their books time and time again. If she is not writing, you can find her visiting her enchanted garden, raising organic vegetables, or writing poetry. She has several books on her TBR list, and more titles are added to it. Talk to her about books, gardening, and food (don’t forget about food), and you’ll do just fine.

She spends as much time as she is arranging and reading books at the bookstore. She loves to read Mitch Albom’s books, fantasy and romance. She is always ready to go on an adventure hidden within the pages of her books. In addition to all her adventures at the bookstore, she enjoys taking selfies, selfies of her cat, Migo, and binge-watching KDramas: a certified cat lover and gastronomer.
